We have all encountered the word “hyperactive.” It is a sort of buzzword or a moniker for a person who is always on the run or never seems to run out of energy.

So what can you do to help remedy it? There has been disagreement about how effective ADD and ADHD medications are. Some recommend a more natural method. We have already mentioned of essential fatty acids in proper brain function and that children who exhibit symptoms of ADD and ADHD have lower levels when compared to other children. As such, a diet full of EFAs is important. The best sources of Omega Fatty 3 acids (EFA) include tuna fish, shrimp as well as salmon. Walnut oil and Olive oil are also great sources of EFAs.
